Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs)
Small anchors that provide precise tooth movement without extra appliances.
Small, temporary titanium anchors placed in the jaw to support precise tooth movement and reduce the need for headgear or extra appliances.
Small anchors are temporarily placed in the jaw to provide stable support, allowing targeted tooth movement without relying on other teeth or external appliances.
Allows more precise tooth movement, shorter treatment times, and fewer appliances while improving predictability and results.
Patients needing complex tooth movements, space closure, or bite correction where traditional braces or aligners need added support.
Placement is quick and minimally invasive, typically done in-office. Most patients experience mild soreness and return to normal activities the same day.
Placement takes about 15–30 minutes. TADs remain in place for several months, depending on treatment needs.
Good oral hygiene is important while TADs are in place. Mild discomfort is normal and typically short-lived.
Mild soreness is common for a few days. Normal activities can usually be resumed the same day, with simple care instructions to support healing.
